Women Investing for a Sustainable Economy (WISE) is a first-of-its-kind global organization for women, and those who identify as women, who are passionate about building community and the sustainable and impact investing industry. Today, WISE has 8 local chapters -- Boston, Los Angeles, New York City, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Washington DC, London, and Toronto -- and a virtual chapter for all other members outside of these locations. Each chapter is run by committed Chapter Leaders with community members helping to host and organize regular monthly gatherings virtually and in apartments, homes, offices, and public spaces. Events featuring external speakers, such as mentors and industry leaders, are held on a regular basis, with additional ad-hoc events being hosted by chapters and intra-chapter affinity groups that include WISE-LIT, WISE-MOMS, and WISE-EATS.
