We are excited to invite you to an outdoor volunteer event next Saturday, April 29th. We will help the PS187 school garden, the "old" friend of WISE-NYC, prepare for the new growing season.

We will start around 10:00 AM and work for 2-3 hours. Next week, I will send more details on the event to those who registered.

In 2021, our WISE-NYC volunteers helped build a new school garden at PS187 in Washington Heights. We helped move soil, build garden beds and benches, and prepare the garden for student use in the fall. Now, two years later, the garden is thriving and absolutely beautiful.

The school is next to Fort Tryon Park. After we volunteer, we plan to find a spot in the park to sit down, have a quick snack, and catch up.
