The Meatloaf Kitchen aims to bring joy to different communities in New York through freshly cooked food every Saturday, and for the past 30 years, the kitchen has opened to serve those in need solely through the help of volunteers. According to its recounts, the Meatloaf Kitchen has had more guests lately, as it is serving refugees in the city as well as others.
WISE NYC will come together to volunteer and be part of the Meatloaf Kitchen community for one Saturday. The event will take around 4 hours and we will help with preparing and serving food, in addition to distributing food to go.
Given that there will be other volunteering groups present, they have capped our group at 10 volunteers to ensure everyone feels productive. As you sign up for the event, please make sure you are able to commit and remain in contact if there is a change of plans.
